Dear Aunty Elly,

We know this isnt goodbye because mammy said you would be coming to visit us in our new home in the country. We wanted to thank you for taking such good care of us and Lulu wanted to say sorry for all the times she acted the maggot! We asked mammy to get you a present and she got you this black pashmina thingy which just looks like a comfy blanket to us but she said it would look good on you cos you are so tall and blond. We would prefer to keep you but mammy is making us move .... Please come and see us soon and we can show you our new home and the four other dogs we will be living with ... the noise!! Thank you so much again and we love you,

> I'm Buddy (golden) and my new friend is Ruby (black and white), both of us are Limerick Animal Welfare rescue dogs, and we have a lovely home together now. Our owner never had to leave us alone before, always having a family member to mind us in our own home. Recently, everyone was going away at the same time, so there could have been a major problem. Luckily for us all, we met Elly on our family walks along by the Shannon, so it was arranged that Elly come to our home twice a day, early in the mornings to let us out, feed us, check our water, and then bring us for a long walk. Elly did the same for us at night time, as well as closing curtains, leaving certain lights on, even removing letters and newspapers from our letterbox. It was great fun for both of us! We curled up together on the giant beanbag to recover from all the activity - keeping an ear open to hear her return again!  So a big thank you Elly, for making our few days without our family, so safe, happy and content. We've had a doggy chat, and are urging our owners to go away again soon - it was a very different, big adventure for the two of us!
 

Hi Elly

Thank you so much for looking after Boldie & Kaiser sooo well & for doing the extra day at such short notice. It was a great relief to come home & find them relaxed & happy- unlike the last time we were away ( they didn't speak to us for a few days after we came back! ).To have them looked after in their own home is a great bonus.

Also, thanks for all the updates while we were away- you must be Dr Doolittle for Boldie to have come over for rubs!

Just a quiet thank you for taking care of Jarvis (even when he's been howling & a bit grumpy). He'll really miss you & the rest of your entourage when we move back to the UK. Good luck with the business, you have done great so far & its a credit to you. Long may it continue.

My name is Lynda, I have two cats, Gizmo and Belle.  I decided to use Dogdays to mind my two cats in my own home while I was away on holidays, as I had found that taking them away from their environment, made them seriously unhappy.  I met with Elly for the 'meet and greet' where we discussed my needs and Elly met my two cats.  I found Elly to be very professional from the outset, taking all the cats details, dietary requirements, veterinary details etc.  Elly called to my home twice a day to feed the cats and the best reference I can give is that when I came home, my two cats were not bothered it was me, they'd such a great time in my absence that my return was not a big deal not to mention being very content!!!  I got over the snub of my arrival home quick enough, thankfully :)  Elly also turned on my lights in the evening and turned them off in the morning which gave me great peace of mind that my home was ok.  The big plus was when Elly emailed me while I was away to let me know how things were going, this was fantastic as it was great to know they were ok and VERY happy.  I genuinely would recommend this excellent service to anyone, I found the service to be professional and trustworthy and I will definitely use this service again in near future.

"I love this service, I look forward it on a daily basis. The sight of Ellie's orange van coming to collect me sends me into  spins of delight. We (me and my dog pals)always have a great time when we go out and our walks are always varied and fun. I have even started swimming and I used to be terrified of water. Ellie does really well at this and we are delighted she has gone full time with the business. Me and all my fellow customers ( other dogs that walk and play with me ) we all think she's the bees knees.I have a new little sister and she is going to start coming out with me and my friends next month.This is a great business."

"I've been a client of DogDays since Elly started the business. I used to really annoy my mama when she came home from work, she would give me rubs and play ball with me but i needed more. Now with DogDays I get to run around like a lunatic for an hour, swim with other dogs and go to loads of interesting places. I met Mindy through DogDays, we had such fun on our DogDays walks that she sometimes stayed weekends with us when her parents were away. She thinks she's my girlfriend but mostly I just ignore her. Unless she takes my ball or my rope toy. The picture below is me and Mindy at the window after mama told us we were going walkies with DogDays. DogDays is awesome."
